I have a list of all devices connected to my wifi through the spectrum app - things like my smart tv, my roommates phone, etc. The list of devices it gave me after scanning was the router (marked safe) and my own phone (marked safe), and 7 other devices marked suspicious. I was expecting to be able to verify that all of the devices it recognized were safe, that way I could start up a new device and test that it recognized there was something new. But I can’t mark the suspicious IPs as safe. I would have to write down their address and check it myself to know if it was a safe device. Completely pointless. They are making money off of people who are paranoid but don’t know much about wifi technology.

This thing doesn’t work at all. Try Sri scan, select pictogram, point camera at object, and nothing happens. There is a reverse view button and nothing else. No scan period. Can’t find any operation guide. Select history, there is nothing explaining what was scanned as suspicious. If is is okay it tells you to for example but nothing for suspicious. And the red dots are fixed on screen so every time you turn to go toward them they turn with you. Again no information on the history. Waste of money.

Against my better judgment, I downloaded this app and thought it would protect my family and I while in public places. Any app that needs to join a wireless network is a POC. Why would a perv publish out their SSIDS, put cameras on that SSID but then allow the public to join that same wireless network to scan it for cameras?? Oh I wish I had that moment of weakness back along with the $6.99 that I spent for 30 seconds which is about how long it took me to realize this app is useless. Don’t make the same mistake I did!
